I'm Brent Vosters, a partner at Benesch Investment Group, a wealth management firm in Coconut Grove, Miami.

Our background is institutional money management, and it shows in how we work with a family. We do our own research, reach our own conclusions, and build each family’s portfolio around its own situation.

Coral Gables, Florida

Born in Miami, moved to New York City at twelve, back at forty. Home is Coral Gables now, with my wife and two daughters.

As for the work: when markets move, the people you talk to are the people who made the decision. Your portfolio is built around your situation instead of a place in a model. We work with a limited number of families, founders, executives and foundations, here in South Florida and elsewhere, which is what makes that possible.

I'm a big fan of the Economic Club of Miami, where I sit on the advisory board, as well as the Miami AI Club and many other interesting groups.

I'm also happy to help where I can. If you want to talk about how your money is being looked after, need an introduction to the right person, or just want to think through an idea, write to me. Connecting people is a big part of what I do, and I enjoy it.

The benefit of collisions

Good things happen when curious people end up in the same room.

Most weeks that means the Economic Club, an AI meetup, or a dinner I put together because a few interesting people needed to meet each other. I go for the people. Some of the best things in my life came out of a conversation I never planned. If you are building something in this city, or in town for a few days with an idea, I would like to hear about it.

This is how I see it.

Say hello

Always happy to meet. If you are in Miami, or passing through, say hello.
